Digital Daily Warm-Ups
The Digital Daily Warm-Ups series is a wonderful way to turn extra classroom minutes into valuable learning time. The brief activities allow students to apply problem-solving skills that are relevant to their lives, whether it be calculating the cost of a new bike, or calculating the likelihood of rolling doubles in a board game. The warm-ups include an assortment of problems requiring varying degrees of prior knowledge—from algebra and geometry to graphing and probability. They vary in level of difficulty and the amount of time it will take students to solve them.
Daily Warm-Ups are easy-to-use activities. Make them into laminated cards for student use. You may want to use the activities as a test on the problem-solving skills that are built and acquired over time.
Each title in the Digital Daily Warm-Ups series contains more than 100 focused activities to challenge your students’ thinking. The titles cover a broad range of topics including general science, biology, all areas of mathematics, English language skills, history, geography, art and culture.
