Dr Carol Tomlinson's career as an educator includes 21 years as a public school teacher and 12 years as a program administrator of special services for struggling and advanced learners. Special interests throughout Carol's career have included curriculum and instruction for struggling and advanced learners, effective instruction in heterogeneous settings, and encouraging creative and critical thinking in the classroom.

Dr Phil Warrick is associate vice president of Marzano Research in Colorado. He was an award-winning administrator in Nebraska for nearly 12 years, most recently as principal of Round Rock High School, which serves nearly 3000 students. Dr Warrick has been an adjunct professor at Peru State College since 2005.

Barbara K. Watterston, EdD, has held a number of school and executive leadership positions across Australia. Her national and international research, coaching and speaking engagements emphasise the impact of high-quality leadership on student learning.

Professor Dylan Wiliam is emeritus professor of educational assessment at University College London. One of the United Kingdom's leading experts on assessment, Dylan is an experienced international presenter who specialises in introducing educators to the principles and practice of assessment for learning.

Kenneth Williams, a former teacher, assistant principal, and principal, shares his experience and expertise as a recognized trainer, speaker, coach, and consultant in education and leadership.

Dr Janelle Wills, PhD, is the lead training associate for High Reliability Schools, The Art and Science of Teaching and other Marzano Research topics. She works extensively with schools, regions and systems throughout Australia. Throughout her career, Dr Wills has been adept at linking theory with practice, resulting in the development of significant initiatives both within schools and at a sector level.
