Kylie has led the implementation of improvements to teaching and learning in a variety of educational sectors. She has been an educational consultant, a literacy project officer and coach, a lecturer, an assistant principal and a classroom teacher. As a lead writer in national curriculum projects, she has developed a deep understanding of curriculum planning and implementation.

As an experienced educational researcher, Kylie has served on various research projects. Her master's degree in education explored how reflective and inquiry dialogue can improve team capacity, and she is currently completing her PhD on digital literacy.
