CARS & STARS Online: Student Subscription

CARS & STARS Online (CSO) is a web-based reading comprehension application for teachers and students. The program is derived from the reading comprehension program CARS & STARS that is produced as a printed series featuring a teacher book and a student workbook. The web application is modulated in a similar structure to the printed work, with a teacher/parent portal and a student/child portal available. Like the printed work, it is not possible to use one module without the other.

The Student Subscription is designed to improve reading comprehension with a series of multiple-choice questions that determine their understanding of the 12 CARS & STARS strategies. With engaging and interactive assessments, children are presented with a novel-like story to read through, followed by questions based on the 12 comprehension strategies. View progress charts and more, while tracking their journey throughout the whole program.
