Description

Betsy Moore spent 22 years in the classroom and nine of those years in special education.  In the late 1990’s, she was a key player in the very successful efforts of Reynoldsburg (Ohio) City Schools to create and implement short-cycle assessments into the district. In the last decade of her public education career, Betsy was tapped by the Ohio Department of Education to come out of the classroom and train educators across the state in short-cycle assessment and other disciplines.  She gradually transitioned to a full-time role with the Ohio Center of Essential School Reform’s Literacy Curriculum Alignment Project (LCAP) as a founding member, and was instrumental in creating and implementing much of the training curriculum used for LCAP.

She retired from Reynoldsburg after 30 years of service in 2008 and in January of 2009, ECM Educational Consulting/Teacher 2 Teacher was formally launched. Betsy has had the honor of training in over 100 school districts and impacting over 3,000 educators.
