Tommy Reddicks is the school director for Paramount Schools of Excellence in Indianapolis. He has worked in the public, private and charter school sectors in three US states.
Tommy served as a music educator between 1995 and 2009. He has also contributed to three school startups, growing a vast array of experience in the field of school operations.
In 2002, Tommy started writing educational units for the National Core Knowledge Foundation. Since then, he has presented on unit writing and curriculum design at numerous national conferences. In 2009, he accepted an administrative role at Knowledge Quest Academy in Milliken, Colorado.
As a strong believer in data-driven solutions for health and education, Tommy joined his school efforts with the Indianapolis-based Community Health Network in 2011. This partnership has sparked ongoing research and pilot programs in Indiana for school-based health center models that leverage correlations between academic performance and social determinants of health.
Tommy holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in music and education from the University of Wyoming.
