This research-based series provides instructional activities based on a variety of curriculum content areas. The four levels of comprehension in the series relate to established cognitive theory including Bloom's taxonomy and Marzano's framework. Each student book contains four sections, and each section contains eight reading passages with a mixture of multiple choice and short response questions. Using a step-by-step approach to improve higher-order thinking, Building Levels of Comprehension teaches students how to understand questions and use that understanding to find answers. Suitable for middle primary to lower secondary reading levels.
